Feeling the chill this weekend? The seasons play an important part in our energy and our life. This week at Sunshine School of Yoga we discuss the sister science of yoga. We learn how to find balance in our life, no matter what is happening in the world around us. Simple changes in habit, diet, and practice can help you breeze through the fall and winter months, without losing balance.
As the weather gets colder adding more Heated yoga or Power yoga to your schedule can move your energy faster and fight the winter sluggishness we sometimes get.
Not in the mood for a faster practice, no worries. Eat more spicy food, use coconut oil after your shower, and wear bright colors. Be mindful as you increase your fire energy when the weather gets colder. You can over do it, fall off balance and build too much pitta energy.
The cooler weather turns our attention to the holidays. I will lead a special Black Friday yoga class at the studio with a little power, a little yin and a yoga nidra meditation. There are limited spots available and the class is no charge. Please do not wait to register.
